Richard Price is a town planner and urban designer with extensive experience in the
design and development of sustainable communities. Has worked with private clients,
government agencies, institutions, and design firms to conceptualize, evaluate, and
implement innovative design strategies at the building, neighborhood, and regional scale.
With a graduate degree in urban policy and real estate development, Mr. Price has also
designed and carried out several successful development projects in the Southeastern
US, focusing on innovative and cost-effective green design strategies.

Richard has worked closely with citizens, landowners, developers, and government
officials to design and implement innovative projects and memorable places. His experience in award-winning urban design and development work includes urban infill,
suburban transformation, greenfield development, mixed-income communities, and walkable neighborhoods. In addition to practice, Mr. Price teaches courses in urban design and professional development in the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia.
